Meet Kumbah, the goofbag who found her way all the way to Toronto in Canada from the little streets of a Kumbh Mela in India. In 2015, this little pup stole the heart of Pranay, a traveller visiting Nashik during the Kumbh Mela. He was so mesmerized by this pup trying to survive the streets that he picked her up and decided to give her a home and take her along all the way to Toronto. She was beautifully named Kumbah and its been such an interesting journey for her all along.

Bringing your pets to Canada required quite a few formalities, including vaccinations, inspections, certifications etc., but Pranay was totally determined and made sure he adhered to every bit that was required to move Kumbah to the other part of the world along with him. On 9th August 2016, Kumbah was finally brought to Canada and the excited Indian Mongrel beautifully adapted to the contrasting weather conditions out there, thanks to the strong immune system that Indian street dogs are born with.

Pranay has introduced her to beautiful surroundings and neighbourhood that welcomed her with open arms and made Kumbah so much a part of themselves.

Kumbah’s journey is not just exciting, but inspiring for all animal lovers who leave no stone unturned to make sure their comfort is of utmost importance. People like Pranay make you believe that if there is a will there is a way.
